Partnering with Your Doctor

FruiteX-B is made of ingredients that you already take on a regular basis, technically speaking. These ingredients are generally free of any negative side-effects. However, it's always important to let your doctor know what you're incorporating into your health plan. Working with your health care professional means you're able to form a game plan. With so many over-the-counter medications and supplements out there, it's vital to have one health care professional that knows all the things you take in.

Navigating the World of Joint Health Care

You may have realized at this point that there are a lot of health care practitioners that deal with joints and issues related to the joint or its supportive components. We have compiled a guide that you may find beneficial when trying to understand the many practitioners that may benefit you. The "Pocket Guide to Joint Stiffness" is designed to help you navigate the wide world of joint care and answer some of the questions that you may have about what all these different professionals do. We may even bring to your attention some people that benefit joints that you may not have been aware of.

Calcium, Fructose, and Boron

Boron is the center of the fructoborate molecule, which is also known as FruiteX-B. Boron is an element that is often taken in through food sources. It's part of many body processes, but most people don't get enough of it. Boron has been in use for joint health in Australia for over 30 years and is becoming popular in India and Europe. Research has allowed us to see that boron does not help your joints in just one way. There are many mechanisms with which boron can improve joint health. Boron works as an antioxidant and an anti-inflammatory. It also helps to inhibit enzymes which could break down the joint.

Fructoborate Safety

The "no observed adverse effect level" for boron is based on animal models is 55 mg/kg body weight. That is the equivalent of taking over 500 FruiteX-B pills for an average-size adult. The International Programme on Chemical Safety Report set the tolerable intake of boron to be 28mg/day (more that 4 capsules of FruiteX-B) for a 155 pound male. Tolerable intake is defined as an estimate of the intake of a substance that can occur over a lifetime without major health risks. Boron has been shown to increase brain activity. This means that evening doses should be avoided. Since boron is a trace element you only need small amounts for it to be beneficial. For being a trace element, boron has a low occurrence of side effects even at relatively high doses. In rare cases some people have experienced nausea and headache, and gastrointestinal upset with higher doses of boron. Boron is a component of many high quality multivitamins, but are generally lacking the amounts believed to be beneficial for optimal health. They also do not contain the forms that have been researched for joint health.
